You have 140 characters (yes, including spaces) to highlight your minute by minute accomplishments to the world. So Twitter is not for the long winded but suits that quick response instant gratification mode of communication that many of your clients are adopting.You will receive everyone's postings (called Tweets) only if you elect to "follow" them. If you follow someone, you can post back to them, visible to all of their followers.  In this way a message can grow virally across thousands of followers with no extra work on your part.  For example if you post @aplusk(Ashton Kutcher's screen name) then your Tweet can be seen by all of his 1M+ followers
